    Professor, Rehab Science

    Dr. Guccione's research interests are in functional outcomes after rehabilitation, most recently focused on overground locomotion training after spinal cord injury. He has received grant funding from the Arthritis Foundation and the Foundation for Physical Therapy, and was the recipient of a Special Emphasis Research Career Award from the National Institute on Aging.

    Dr. Rosemary D. Higgins serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Research and the interim Department Chair for Rehabilitation Science. She oversees the Office of Research, supports a culture of research in the college, and links the research if the college to the greater university research enterprise.
